Nestled in the scenic hills of Himachal Pradesh, Paonta Sahib is a renowned pilgrimage site for Sikhs and a destination rich in natural beauty and historical significance. The town is home to the revered Gurudwara Paonta Sahib, built in honor of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who resided here for four years.
During his time in Paonta Sahib, Guru Gobind Singh Ji found inspiration in the serene surroundings, engaging in poetry, hunting in the dense forests, and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. The Gurudwara complex houses a grand Darbar Hall, where the Guru would gather with 52 poets. Another significant site within the complex is Sri Talab Sahib, where Guruji would distribute earnings to his soldiers.
